Purpose and Principles

Apartment Rowers exists to help you make a confident rowing machine decision for your space, body, and budget. Our coverage is independent, measurement‑first, and practical for apartment living.

Independence and Ethics

• We do not sell sponsored reviews or guaranteed placements.
• Our recommendations are based on hands‑on testing, data analysis, and expert evaluation—not on affiliate commissions or brand relationships.
• If a product is provided as a loaner or sample, we disclose it and evaluate it using the same test protocol as retail units.

Review Process and Standards

• Each rower undergoes the QuietErg Home protocol: acoustic measurements at multiple stroke rates, fit and ergonomics assessment, connectivity verification, storage and footprint evaluation, setup and maintenance difficulty, durability and repairability notes, and total cost of ownership.
• We publish clear pros/cons and note meaningful trade‑offs for different bodies, budgets, and living situations.

Evidence, Sources, and Citations

• We prioritize first‑party testing and manufacturer documentation. When citing external research (e.g., acoustics or standards references), we link to primary sources where available.
• Figures and claims include context (test conditions, units, and limitations) to preserve comparability.

Updates and Corrections

• We revisit guides and reviews when products change, prices shift, or new data improves our picks. Significant updates are timestamped.
• If we make an error, we correct it promptly and note the change.

Product Samples, Loans, and Returns

• We prefer retail purchases. When that’s impractical, we accept time‑limited loans with no editorial promises. Brands have no review or approval rights.
• Return of samples is our default unless otherwise disclosed.

Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure
